With Dumpling you are hiring a person to be your shopper. You get the same person (ME) every order. It isn't a system where one of 400k different random people could be showing up at your home.
FYI the "platform fee" goes to dumpling to maintain the app development and the actual card processing fees for transactions and I don't get any of it.
Overall with dumpling you will be paying less for groceries..... Instacart and shipt have an up to 30% food mark up and don't acknowledge in-store store sales and promotions. I keep an eye out for sales and BOGO. Also once you and I have a few orders...
